Kashmir is famous for its scenic beauty and delicious spices along with beautiful garments, its political condition is not quite good. The Violence in Jammu and Kashmir cause loss of life of people.The Kashmir issue is one of the reason bad relation between India and Pakistan. Jammu and kashmir is made of mainly three parts:
Jammu: This part is mixture of Hindu ,Muslim and Sikh ,Himalya ,foothills are mainly found in this region
Kashmir: Kashmir Velly is the heart of Kashmir , In this area mostly Kashmiri speaking muslims stay as majority and Kashmiri speaking Hindu as minority
Ladakh: This region is mainly mountains with very less population.
pakistan is not the only reason for kashmir issue there are lot of internal dimensions, for example many political party , they are not stick on one decision.
Before 1947 J&K was a princely state, ruled by a Hindu king named Hari Singh. After Independence King Hari singh wanted his seperate nation , but Pakistan thought most of Kashmiri are muslim so they claimed for Kashmir. But Kashmiri people believed in kashmiriyat ,and they deny for it.Finally Kashmir was a seperate nation , but King Hari Singh was very close to India congress and Pandit Jwahar Lal neharu .
In October 1947 Pakistan sent tribal infiltrators to Kashmir to capture the same. The Maharaja finally decided to take help from India to tackle Pakistan.The Indian Government decided to help Kashmir ,but government made some decision , which given birth to article 370, Article 370 was invoked and Jammu & Kashmir was made an autonomous state in India. Sheikh Abdullah became the Prime Minister of Jammu & Kashmir on March 1948.
Article 370 gives greater autonomy to Jammu and Kashmir as compared to the other States of India. It has its own Constitution. All provision of Indian Constitution are not applicable in Jammu and Kashmir , we discuss leter what are applicable. What ever law passed by India Parliament, are applicable in jammu and Kashmir if state is agree with that law. This special status has provoked two opposite reactions. There are section of people out side of Jammu and Kashmir , they believed that article 370 making weak bounding between India and Jamuu and Kashmir, or in other word it created gap . So out side of jammu and Kashmir people want full integration , they want to revoke article 370.
Another section, People of Kashmir, they believe that the autonomy conferred by Article 370 is not enough.They need full freedom.
1989 in Jammu and kashmir ,has taken a different form, it divided into three major groups , separatist who wnat greater autonomy for the people ,separarist who want to merge with pakistan ,here is one strand of separatists who want a separate Kashmiri nation, independent of India and Pakistan.But Kashmir is a integral part of India , and Pakistan can not take it from India by army directly,Almost all rivers flow from kashmir to pakistan , and many important things are there.
